Notes on John Glascock Sr.
He lived in the Goose Creek area of Fauquier Co., VA. In 1813 he moved to Frederick Co., VA where he made deposition in 1813 about his father's land in Goose Creek. In 1816 he moved with several of his children to Adams Co., Ohio where he wrote
his will June 22, 1817 at the age of 80 calling himself John Glascock Snr. His will left land in Ky to be divided among his children. Over 50 years later there was a lawsuit over this Ky land during which depositions were taken in Mo.
In 1800, there were three males over 16 (himself, and sons Asa and Gregory) and four horses at his household.
