Notes on Capt. Peter Glascock
Peter Glascock of Fauquier Co., VA designed the Village of Paris in northern Fauquier Co., VA ca. 1786. He built his large brick home at the head of the village
where it stands to this day. He served in the Revolutionary War.
April 11, 1797 PETER GLASSCOCK OF FAUQUIER CO. KY (THIS SAYS KY) of one part and JACOB MYERS AND NOAH GLASSCOCK of aforesaid county devised granted and to farm let county aforesaid and town of Paris lotted by the name of the TANY and lott
beginning 23 feet from Center of Main St. to Jacob Myers and Noah Glasscock during term of their lives, the life of JOSEPH AND BENJAMIN GLASSCOCK, SONS OF PETER and JOSEPH BERRY SON OF JOSEPH BERRY, SR. Jacob Myers and Noah Glasscock agree to pay
